Abstract

The disruption of neuromuscular transmission at the motor end plate requires the reduced use of muscle relaxants in patients with myasthenia gravis (MG). Due to its special pharmacokinetics (Hofmann elimination), cisatracurium can induce more controllable anesthetic conditions in patients with MG.
