Defibrillators at sea with semi-automatic data transmission to a medically staffed consultation centre can improve the use of these medical devices and provide safety in the treatment of seafarers. The algorithm stored for this purpose must enable 3 reliable options for diagnosis. Asystole, arrhythmia, normal findings.
